Closed society (House clos, Jean Paul Sartre 1944) Three people, who have never seen each other before, find themselves in hell after their death. Everyone depends on the other, and yet they try to control each other through mutual power games, in order to obtain forgiveness for one's own misdeeds in life and thereby be able to escape hell or receive salvation.
In the play, Sartre portrays the drama of human existence itself, the problems in relationships and the desire for recognition, Love and sexuality ruthlessly in front of our eyes. The three protagonists find themselves in a vicious circle and ultimately it is each individual's responsibility, whether they break through it or remain in it...
